Why ARE We Here?

The love I have for all who grieve the deaths of precious children and loved ones is broad and becomes broader every time I sit here at the computer. I see vulnerability and anger, love beyond love, determination, fear, misconceptions and so many other aspects of grief running through our journeys…

But when we are able to find greater answers and clarification…we grow in new ways. We are opened up to hope, continuing connections, depth and meaning… MORE than we ever knew existed in this life of mystery, pain, love, and life defining challenges.

Scott/Spirit, my beloved child, has come to me this week in a new way. We are going to write together as we always do, but now there will be more shared about the spiritual truths and misconceptions that we hear, read about, fear, question, and find hope in as well.

It is time for clarity…

and so we share…

This is deep stuff…

Are you ready for us to bring you greater information…directly from Scott/Spirit/God?

They say it is time.

How can I be so bold as to tell you that I, as Sara, know these truths? Because Scott and I have come together in this lifetime to do this work…together…to grow…and for the greater good. To open up, inform, share, heal, teach those who are ready…to write of who we all are on this earth, why we are here, life and death, the afterlife…

So much… Yes… We’ll begin with this…

The love of a child with his or her parents, siblings, and extended family is always soul planned before birth. Our lives are soul planned hundreds of years before we are born in order for every aspect of this life to come together. We plan with Spirit, God…in that all knowing state.

Yes, our children choose us to be their parents (I love this), because when in Spirit, we know what we NEED to experience in this lifetime. And yes, we do forget all the planning when we are born. Our life’s journey then becomes the soul planned life we will experience…following those precise plans designed with us, for us, with others in our families, friends, acquaintances, and so importantly… for the greater good.

And then…

It becomes a mystery to us in our human body. We are not meant to be aware of who we will be, or become, all that we will live with, through, or what we will endure, experience, learn and grow from during our life span…no matter how long that is planned for.

Why such great mystery? Why does it have to be so mysterious??

…Because in this lifetime I realize that if I had known everything that was to come into my life, I would have spent each and every day trying to change, avoid, create the new, stop the plans…and on and on.

Life is not meant to be seen in its fullest state…before we live it.

I know you’re like me…I would have stopped the world to prevent Scott’s sudden death. STOP!  NO!!!

But…

Would I have let him live his life fully? Explore? Play? Create? Learn some hard lessons in life…that grew him into the great young man he was? Would my fears have kept him from all he became?  Very possible…

Love is hugely protective. We don’t want pain to come to those we love. We don’t want anyone to grieve as we have and are. We would avoid all of this!

But…because there is a bigger plan for each of us… We are born…and we will die…when it is the planned time.  A fulfilled life…in Spirit’s knowing…and timing.

This is so hard to comprehend when all we want is our children to be with us, our loved ones to never have left…

But centuries of life on earth have shown us… Death ultimately comes. It is the way…the life…the leaving. It is not always easy, pretty, simple. Life is so complex…confusing…painful…and joy filled too.

When we plan our lives while still in Spirit we know all this will come…and when we return to Spirit/Heaven…we know we have grown and seen life in a broader sense than ever before. Life to to be experienced…in all the ways we need.

It all has meaning.

Scott/Spirit is my teacher…you know this. Years of my hearing him, sitting with his words and the hard challenges even after his death have shown me this… We ARE spiritual beings having human experiences in our bodies. We are more than we can see or imagine while in in this body. But leaving it…as Scott needed to…provides us with this…a new knowing…

The love we share is eternal and the need to come back into this life together once again…and again…is soul planned to grow us individually and in this lifetime as mother and son. It is a deep commitment we made to one another…to our families…to the universe…to God…before we were born.

But then…you might wonder…

Life does not always bring us the love we wanted or the life we would have dreamed of. Our loved ones’ lives…cut short or with so many unexplained pieces and parts left to confuse us…breaking our hearts…

How does that fit into a soul planned life? It seems totally impossible anyone would plan that.

The coming together in Spirit is unlike anything we can know while in the body on earth. Trust us…we will explain further in our next blog…coming next week.

Til then…love yourself. You are learning and seeking answers to the hard questions. You haven’t given up… Your loved ones are working along side you seen or unseen to bring this information to you…

Yes. It IS all soul planned.

xoxo

I love this! I would guess you are just excited as I am to hear the next messages! This “truth” has given me a sense of peace and contentment…not to mention an awakening and fascination with the human lifetime. I look forward to seeing at the BP Conference in Indy!

I so understand how you feel Diana…as we must search, search, search for answers. We cannot give this up to the old answers that don’t fill us up with that sense of deep knowing that our children and loved ones are with us, bringing that relationship into this “new” one. I’m looking forward to seeing you soon… xoxo

How comforting it must be to have these beliefs. They provide an explanation for the unexplainable, an answer for the unanswerable and an out for those asked why but have no truthful, verifiable response, only personal beliefs.

In seeking my own answers, I heard someone use the analogy of a glove and hand. I have expanded it and share it, not as the truth but as my thoughts.

    The Hand and the Glove
We all start with a new glove. It fits our hand perfectly. We can wiggle our fingers, carry something, and even embrace others while wearing our glove. Usually we are grateful to wear the glove. It keeps our hand dry and warm and protects it from scrapes. But, as time passes and we wear out the glove. It becomes worn and eventually, it’s purpose has been fulfilled. So the glove is removed and what remains is the hand. It’s the same shape, just without the covering provided by the glove. The hand continues on. As in life and death, our bodies are just our soul’s cover and when our body has fulfilled its purpose, it leaves us. It isn’t the end of the hand but the beginning! Now our soul can experience life without the restrictions of the cloth.

Since the beginning of man, we’ve sought answers. To me, it doesn’t matter if you believe in the Omnipotent, angels, reincarnation, heaven and hell, gods, afterlife, spirit or soul, Mother Nature, or eternal life, we want to – no, we need to believe there is more to life than what we have when the glove is on. There can be great solice in knowing it doesn’t end when the glove is gone. So whatever you call it, it is yours. Cherish it! Enjoy your glove and make the most of it while you can. I just ask you realize it isn’t the “be all, end all”, no matter your beliefs.

There is something to be said for scientific proof and it has its place but sometimes we just need to believe. Without hope for something better, what is our motivation to fulfill our purpose? We might as well throw our glove away now…

Thank you Nancy for this wonderful analogy! I have never heard it before, but it fits right into the spiritual aspect of the soul that Scott shares. Your sharing the “glove” brings even greater clarity to our being here on earth in our bodies…and the fulfillment of our lives. I agree with you that we need hope and greater knowing to move into a place of understanding and then healing. Thank you… xoxo

Sara, somewhere along the line I connected with you. I too, lost a child. Lauren died suddenly 4 years ago, unknown causes, probably sudden cardiac event. I have been on the search since. I get many signs from her. Right now, my life partner is transitioning with stage 4 cancer. Even tho I’ve been through this with losin Lauren, it is quite different with a spouse. Any suggestions to help me cope? Much appreciated, Mary

Many challenges here for you Mary. So very hard. Having a deeper trust in the “why’s” our loved ones “leave”, and ultimately that we will too, can be much better understood through the soul planning Scott/Spirit shared with us. The plan creates the disease, the soul growth, the human level reactions and all that comes through that experience. A book that helped me tremendously is
Your Soul’s Plan by Robert Schwartz. Perhaps you could find solace within those pages. My heart goes out to you…and remember you are never alone. xoxo

If Scott will, I would appreciate further understanding of our ‘soul’s plan as I struggle with many chosen life plans ( I have read Your Soul’s Plan by Robert Schwartz). It is extremely difficult for me to grasp the necessity of being evil or the recipient of evil. I NEVER want to be the evil one! In addition, I have sincere difficulty accepting ‘God’, ‘All that is’, ‘God within us’ who would allow, or create the need for human beings to be capable of inflicting unbearable torture of any type to another human being, for murder, for unbearable physical or emotional suffering. Yes, I know the premise that in order to know the positive we must experience the negative. For example: I for one have never experienced rape but know that it is something that is beyond positive. I my choice is never to come back. Why would I want to suffer any more than I have. I appreciate only love, and all that is good. I don’t need to experience or be aware of any more evil.

Hi dear Cindy…I know there will be questions that will come for all of us with the soul planning. It’s so important to question in order to find what can help each of us…
      Scott will answer this…
When the world seems so unbalanced and dark Cindy, there are those parts of life and death that will in human terms be considered “evil”. That is why Spirit is expressing through Sara/Mom the soul planning through this important blog. There needs to be a new view of what occurs in your life and others. This is such a deep topic and needs more than this answer, so we, Scott/Spirit, will take the time to enlarge and express the meaning and reality of spiritual soul planning in our upcoming blogs. We will address the evil term, for you and others…because it IS so important to begin to understand and even embrace the meaning of life and death beyond what has been known. Thank you for sharing your thoughts Cindy…we need your questioning to help others grow too. xoxoxo

Thank you Linda… The grief journey and so much of life pushes us to find answers. So,so hard. AS you know, I live my life knowing it IS soul planned and it has brought me (and I know you) greater peace of mind. Spirit will teach through the love and the greater understanding we cannot always give one another in our human bodies. Future blogs will bring more insights. Thanks dear heart. xoxo

We lost our only child Scott in a tragic car accident in 2002, then in 2006, his father, my husband died of a sudden heart attack.
i found peace and gained faith by giving up fighting for answers and putting myself in God’s hands. Believing that both are together someplace helps me cope.
Tears and grief, pain over my son Scott are part of my life, appearing without warning, sometimes a picture, a memory, sometimes nothing.
The loss of my child changed me in ways I really do not remember my former self.
I also found now that I want to keep my grief private, to myself not wanting to share with others that did not know them. With family and friends I choose to share memories of them when they were here and keep the tears to myself .

I so understand Rose. Life is complex and death can complicate almost everything. I know, from my own experiences, that we all need to find what helps us the most, is healthy, and can allow us to live our lives best. Thank you for sharing what is helping you. We can all learn from one another… xox

My child was killed in an accident last year. And while I can actually apply your thinking to his situation, I cannot consider the dark acts of humanity (murder, abuse, terror) in that way, as “what they came to earth to do.” Please tell me how you would address that? Thank you.

Yes Emily, thank you for your thoughts…they are not unlike many others concerns. As we shared with Cindy in her comment, we will address your question and others in our upcoming blogs. It is too important to not give it the time and depth it needs for greater understanding. I will add that in my life and my grief, finally grasping the soul planning was life changing. I hope you will stick with us and see how it resonates with you. We all are seeking…more.
      Thanks so much… xox

Beautiful words, Sara, as always! You and Scott are such a blessing to all of us who are working through the challenges of loss and grief. I am immensely grateful. I may be getting ahead a bit but I was wondering if you think when you and Scott reunite in the next incarnation, will it be the same relationship, you the mother and he the son?
Also, we need to remember that what we see and dislike in others is what we see in ourselves that we dislike.
    Love to you~

Hmmm Audrey…Scott has not shared that piece of information with me. I hope so! I do know that we have been mother and son in many, many, MANY lifetimes. I have learned he died as an infant or a young child in most of those lives… So similar to what we lived this life…with me as a bereaved mother…able to hear my son after his death. I knew nothing of this before Scott’s death of course.
I find such peace in that, knowing our lives are so connected and ongoing. This happens for all of us…without ever knowing it. Soul families? Yes! What we are being shown now by Spirit (in this present lifetime) as they bring this greater awareness to us through the deaths of our loved ones, is that ongoing relationship of love and commitment…lifetime to lifetime. We will write more of this in the future Scott assures with me.
I’m so glad you asked about this Audrey! xoxo

        Sara and Scott,

Your sharing of your pain and continuing knowledge have helped me so much. My only child, my beloved son committed suicide. It has been over 3 years, and I still see something from San Francisco ( his city) every day. There are times that I see, or hear something on TV or songs on the radio that bring tears of love. I know and trust that I will grow and learn that we are still together in love. Thank you/

We are shown Dee, the ways our children and loved ones continue our relationships. It was astounding to me when the signs from Scott were assuring me and guiding me. Trust it all. It is real and true and you’ll know more I’m certain. Thank you for sharing.
          xoxo
